How clean can you get your home?

The Difference between Disinfecting, Sanitizing & Deep Cleaning

This year has been different for us all due to the impact of COVID. We have all learned how important it is to clean, disinfect and sanitize all of our belongings and our homes. As we continue this battle with  COVID  and live the "New Norm '' we will definitely need to continue the same process of cleaning, disinfecting and sanitizing our homes.

You might be thinking to yourself, isn't this all the same. What is the difference between the three processes?

Cleaning:  Cleaning removes dirt, dust, grime, and garbage from an area and or surface. You are physically doing the processes for example, scrub, wash and rinse in order to remove  the dirt. This process doesn't necessarily kill the germ or bacteria but you are lowering the risk of spreading the infection. A dirty home can cause bacteria, viruses, dirt and rodents. This can cause health issues for anyone in the household within time. It is very important to keep your home clean. You can organize, wash dishes or declutter your home daily or weekly and have a professional cleaning company do the rest.

Disinfecting: A disinfectant is a specific chemical that you apply to the surface, area or object and let it process and dry on it's own. This will help destroy the bacteria and or virus, as well as help it from spreading. This process doesn't clean the dirty surfaces nor remove the germs,  but it does kill the germs and lower the risk of spreading infection,

Sanitizing: To sanitize, you are using special chemicals to kill and or reduce the bacteria and or germ. Basically, you are lowering and removing  the germ for it to be safe but this process doesn't clean the dirty surface nor kill the virus.

With the above explanation, keep in mind, it is important to do all three processes to clean, disinfect and sanitize our homes. It will lower the risk for COVID and or any bacteria/virus, rodents. As well as, let us live in a clean home in which our health won't be affected in any type of way.

Remember a clean home will always be a happy home.
